Water Intake Pumps
Pumps for drawing water from rivers, lakes and reservoirs for irrigation and water supply. Selection depends on the water source, changing water levels, required flow and the head needed to deliver water to your system.
Tell us where the water will be taken from and where it needs to go. We can help review suitable pump options and coordinate the installation arrangement, motor and supporting equipment for your project.

Typical Applications
Agricultural Irrigation
Draw water from rivers, lakes or reservoirs to supply irrigation systems, with pump selection matched to the required flow and delivery pressure.
Water Supply Intake
Transfer raw water from surface sources to water treatment facilities or storage reservoirs as part of a water supply system.
Reservoir Water Transfer
Move water from reservoirs to storage or distribution points, taking seasonal water levels and the delivery route into account.
QJX & GQJX Bottom-Suction Submersible Pumps
The QJX and GQJX series are bottom-suction submersible pumps for surface-water intake and water supply applications. The appropriate model depends on the required flow, total head, water levels, water quality and installation arrangement.
| Parameter | Catalogue Range |
|---|---|
| Flow rate | 20–2,000 m³/h |
| Head | 17–210 m |
These figures describe the overall catalogue range across different models. Maximum flow and maximum head do not apply simultaneously to a single pump. Final selection requires the proposed model’s performance curve and confirmation of the motor, power supply and installation requirements.
Water Quality & Intake Conditions
The catalogue lists the following standard water conditions for the QJX and GQJX range. Suitability must be confirmed for the selected model and the actual water source.
| Parameter | Standard Catalogue Condition |
|---|---|
| Water temperature | Up to 20°C |
| pH value | 6.5–8.5 |
| Solids content | No more than 0.01% by mass |
River, lake and reservoir water conditions can vary by season. Please tell us about any sand, silt, floating debris or changes in water quality. Water outside these catalogue conditions requires technical review before a pump is selected.
Intake Details to Confirm
- Water source and the highest and lowest operating water levels.
- Required flow and the destination of the pumped water.
- Elevation difference, pipe length, pipe diameter and any required outlet pressure.
- Proposed pump position, available water depth and any existing intake structure.
- Available power supply and any photographs or drawings of the site.
Tell Us About Your Water Intake Project
Tell us your project location, water source and where the water needs to go. Include the required flow and any known water levels or pipeline details. We can help review suitable pump options and identify the information needed for a quotation.
You do not need every technical detail to get started. Share any available site photographs, layout drawings or details of your existing pump. If a value is unknown, simply tell us.
