Slurry & Mining Pumps

Pump options for slurry transfer and mine dewatering. Selection depends on the required flow and head, the liquid and solids being handled, and the installation conditions. Tell us about your application so we can review suitable options.

Tell us where the material comes from, what it contains and where it needs to go. Share any available information about particle size, solids concentration and the existing pump. We can help clarify the duty and coordinate the pump, materials and supporting equipment for your project.

Ganquan slurry and mining pumps

Typical Applications

Mine Dewatering

Remove accumulated water from mine workings and collection areas, with pump selection matched to the required flow, total head, water conditions and available power supply.

Sand & Slurry Transfer

Transfer water containing sand or abrasive solids, with pump selection based on particle size, solids concentration and the required pumping duty.

Silt & Sediment Removal

Pump sediment-laden water from collection pits and settling areas, with the material characteristics, available water depth and removal method reviewed for the project.

Slurry & Mining Pump Options

The following Ganquan pump families cover different slurry-handling and mine-dewatering duties. Selection depends on the material being pumped, the required flow and head, and the site’s installation and electrical requirements.

SeriesPump TypeSelection Focus
NSQBSubmersible slurry and sand pumpsSand and abrasive slurry duties, with particle size, solids concentration, density and wear conditions reviewed.
QKSGHigh-voltage submersible mining pumpsMine dewatering duties, with flow, head, water conditions, power supply and installation requirements confirmed for the project.

Final selection requires performance data for the proposed model and confirmation of its suitability for the actual duty. For slurry applications, clean-water performance data alone does not establish slurry performance or wear life. For mining installations, any hazardous-area or explosion-protection requirements must be stated and checked against the proposed equipment’s documentation.

Material & Site Conditions

Share the information available about the material and the pumping site. These details help us review suitable pump options for slurry transfer or mine dewatering and identify the technical requirements for your project.

  • Application: slurry transfer, sand removal, mine dewatering or another duty.
  • Pumped material: water source, solids type and any known chemicals or corrosive substances.
  • Solids information: approximate particle size, solids concentration and whether the concentration is measured by mass or volume, if known.
  • Material properties: slurry density, water temperature, pH and any available analysis or test reports.
  • Required duty: flow rate, total head and expected operating hours, including any seasonal or process variations.
  • Delivery route: elevation difference, pipe length, pipe diameter and the discharge destination.
  • Installation conditions: pump position, available water depth, operating water levels and access for lifting and maintenance.
  • Power and site requirements: available voltage and frequency, controls and any specified hazardous-area or explosion-protection requirements.
  • Existing equipment: pump model, nameplate photographs and any problems with wear, blockage or performance.

If some details are unknown, share what you have. Site photographs, pipeline drawings, existing pump records and material reports can help us identify what still needs to be confirmed.

Tell Us About Your Slurry or Mining Project

Tell us your project location, what needs to be pumped and where it needs to go. Include any known flow and head requirements, along with details of the water or slurry. We can help review suitable pump options and clarify the equipment requirements for a quotation.

Start with the information you have. Photographs of the site, existing pump and nameplate, along with any available material reports or pipeline drawings, can help us understand your needs. If a technical detail is unknown, simply tell us.
