Hot Water & Geothermal Pumps

Submersible pumps for extracting water from hot-water wells and geothermal sources. Pump selection needs to account for water temperature, well conditions and the flow and head required by your system.

Tell us about your well, water temperature and intended use. We can help review suitable pump options and coordinate the motor, materials and installation requirements for your project.

Ganquan hot water and geothermal submersible pumps

Typical Applications

Geothermal Heating

Extract hot water from geothermal wells to supply heat exchangers for building or district heating systems.

Hot Spring Facilities

Draw thermal water from wells for spa and bathing facilities, with pump selection matched to water temperature and chemistry.

Greenhouse Heating

Supply geothermal well water to heat exchangers for greenhouse heating, with flow matched to the project’s heating requirements.

QJR Hot Water Borehole Pumps

The QJR series is designed for extracting hot water from boreholes and geothermal wells. The appropriate model and motor configuration depend on the required flow, total head, water temperature, water chemistry and installation conditions.

ParameterCatalogue Range / Condition
Flow rate5–600 m³/h
Head6–600 m
Water temperatureNormally up to 100°C; higher temperatures require special technical review.

These figures describe the overall catalogue range across different models. Maximum flow and maximum head do not apply simultaneously to a single pump. Temperature suitability must be confirmed for the complete pump and motor assembly. Final selection requires the proposed model’s performance curve and installation requirements.

Water Quality & Installation

Water temperature is only one part of selecting a geothermal well pump. Water chemistry and installation conditions also need to be reviewed. The following are selected water-quality limits listed in the QJR catalogue.

ParameterCatalogue Condition
pH value6.5–8.5
Mineral contentNo more than 4,000 mg/L
Solids contentNo more than 0.01% by mass

These are selected equipment operating conditions, not a complete water-quality specification or a drinking-water standard. Please share any available water analysis so the full catalogue requirements and suitability of the proposed materials can be checked.

Installation Details to Confirm

  • Borehole internal diameter, total depth and water level during pumping.
  • Planned pump installation depth and submergence below the pumping water level.
  • Required flow, total head and available power supply.
  • Suitability of the motor and cable for the operating water temperature.

Tell Us About Your Geothermal Project

Tell us your project location, intended use and any well information you already have. Include the water temperature and required flow if known. We can help review suitable QJR pump options and identify the details needed for a quotation.

You do not need every technical detail to get started. Share any available well reports, water analysis or photographs of your existing pump and nameplate.
